districATH implantable systems for medicine infusion are manufactured of biocompatible materials, according to the international safety and quality requirements.
The catheters (arterial or venous) are made of silicone with centimeter markings and have special features analog to the implantation site. districATH ports are made of titanium or of titanium with a Polysulfone cover. In both cases the ports are light weight, biocompatible, non X-ray penetrable- so that their position can be traced- and have a silicone membrane that allows at least 1500 injections.
The catheter is connected to the port by the means of a connection ring that assures secure access to the port.
